The 2009 ACPA Webinar Series
ACPA's highly acclaimed webinar series features an expanded program for 2009. The series of 36 webinars will cover a broad range of topics presented in an interactive, online format. These special training courses are designed for busy professionals.

Some of the transportation-construction community's most highly respected experts will present basic (60 minute) and intermediate (90 minute) information on a range of topics.

Each will cover design, construction, and rehab of concrete pavements, as well as timely topics such as sustainability, energy, and more.

The 2009 ACPA Airport Pavement Design Seminar

ACPA’s popular Airport Pavement Design Seminar allows project engineers, as well as consultants and construction/project managers, to participate in hands-on training and hear presentations on the various aspects of airport pavement design. Updated for 2009, the program is designed to meet the demands of airport owners, consultants, and others.  The concrete pavement industry is responding to airport owner demands for quality and efficiency in construction of airport pavements. This comprehensive, hands-on training course covers the design and construction of concrete pavements for airports.

ACPA Professor's Seminar

The ACPA Professors’ Seminar is intended to provide college and university professors in the field of civil engineering with the latest information regarding concrete pavement design and construction.

As a bonus, this valuable training provides a "turn-key" package of presentations, technical information, and suggested course curricula, all designed for professors, instructors, and other teaching professionals.

Scheduled for June 8 - 11 (Mon. through Thurs.), the course will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-North Shore/Skokie. The hotel is located at 5201 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, Illinois, less than a mile from the ACPA's Chicago headquarters.

Concrete Pavements 101- Design Construction and Rehabilitation of Concrete Pavements


Revised for 2009, this in-depth training course presents the theory and practice of designing, constructing, and rehabilitating concrete pavements.

The course is intended for engineers, technicians, laboratory personnel, and others. The course covers theory and practice, beginning with basic definitions to the latest innovations in design and construction methods.

The 3-day course covers the lastest developments in the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide, as well as hands-on training with the
software.
