Database of State DOT Concrete Pavement Practices Instructions

Instructions
When launching the ACPA States Practices Database web page, you have access to three primary page elements: Locations, Queries and Controls. 

Locations: This area contains the 50 states of the United States of America and various other international locations.

Queries: This area houses primary topics that, when clicked on, contain logical clusters of the database.  There are currently over 260 variables inside the 16 listed primary topics. 

Controls: This area contains the current controls allow you to toggle the Locations and Queries section of the page on and off for visibility and printability purposes. 

The location of each of these elements on the page is illustrated below.

HOW TO SUBMIT A QUERY

  1. Click here to launch the ACPA States Practices Database web page.
  2. Check the location(s) of interest in the Locations section of the page.
  3. Select the primary topic(s) of interest and check the subtopics of interest from the Queries section of the page.
  4. Your custom table will construct itself towards the bottom of the page. 

 

About the Database
This ACPA database is a comprehensive resourced aimed at providing current and relevant information about concrete pavements throughout the United States. Every attempt is made to capture the most current and accurate information possible. ACPA advises use of information for basic education and informational purposes, but recommends users consult with specifying agencies or industry officials before using any information in this database for pavement design, construction, or rehabilitation purposes.
